My One Year Anniversary at Bennett University
AN INCREDIBLE & HAPPENING first year at Bennett University. Looking back at the past 12 months, the biggest takeaway has been workplace agility… the ability to move fast and adapt faster to changing realities and disruptions. Also fine-tuning the ability of bringing creativity and technology together seamlessly
.
It has been a year of pushing boundaries, storytelling and stepping into rooms I never imagined I would be in. Here are a few milestones that truly shaped my year:
.
* Launched Bennett Dialogues our discussion on geopolitical shifts and built the 1Q1A micropodcast to change how we share quick, impactful ideas
* Had a blast leading the complete revamp of the ‘Times of Bennett’, our student paper
* Stepped out of my comfort zone as Team Principal for Lucknow Leopards in the very first Indian Pickleball League
* Sat down for heartfelt fireside chats with people who inspire millions—from Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi and thinker and activist Marianne Williamson and ‘AI Parentologist’ Kunal Dalal to Yami Gautam who essayed an awesome role in ‘HAQ’
* Found a deeper creative outlet by playing young Rabindranath Tagore with Kathak guru Shovana Narayan ji in ‘Kadambari: The Poet’s Muse’
* Was nominated for the prestigious Tällberg-SNF-Eliasson Global Leadership Prize
* And most recently being invited by RT (formerly Russia Today) and the RT Academy to their headquarters in Moscow and meeting their top execs
.
A big thank you to everyone at Times School of Media, fellow deans and apex leadership at BU especially our Chancellor Mr Vineet Jain for involving me in his pioneering initiatives and last but not the least my students who taught me a lot about where higher education should go from here 🙌😊
